The School Torrent is looking for dynamic and motivated teachers for the upcoming school year.

We are a highly reputable English academy that has been teaching and preparing students for University of Cambridge exams (B1-C2) for over 30 years. Getting to know every one of our students on a personal level is a distinction that we are known by here in Torrent. Many of our students start learning English with us at the age of 3 and continue up through C2 level certification.

We are looking for fun, energetic and experienced teachers who enjoy building a positive classroom environment while working mostly with children, teens and young adults.

All candidates must be native English speakers OR possess a native-like command of the English language (C2 certified) and have spent at least 2 years living and working in an English speaking country. Candidates also need a CELTA qualification and legal working papers here in Spain.

The working hours we have to offer will be between 19 and 24 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

We follow the Official School Calendar here in Torrent and, although we do not teach when the students have holidays during the school year (October-June), our teachers receive a monthly salary and all hours are contracted.

Depending on qualifications and experience, the hourly rate will be between 15.50€ and 16.50€ / NET.
